Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) Components Electronics are one of the important technologies that are urgently needed in life. Each electronic device is composed of several components put together in a circuit board. The essence of each of these electronics is a printed circuit board otherwise known as a PCB. 

Not many people know about PCBs because Printed Circuit Boards will only be visible if an electronic device is opened inside. Printed Circuit Boards is a small green chip lined with lines and copper parts that you will find inside the core of the electronic device. 

PCBs are made of fiberglass, copper lines and other metal parts, these boards are combined with epoxy and isolated with soldering masks. This soldering mask is the origin of the characteristic green color.
Printed Circuit Boards serve to connect each component mounted on it. 

A PCB with multiple components attached is called pcb assembly. The process of making PCB assemblies is called PCB assembly or PCBA abbreviated. Each connector attached to the PCB is connected by a copper line so that it is interconnected. 

The connector runs signals between each component, allowing the circuit board to function according to its manufacturing purpose. PCBs have a simple function until complex functions depend on their use in electronic machines. Pcb assembly process is done in several stages, PCB processing can be done by automatic or manual steps. 

The following are the basic stages in the Printed Circuit Boards assembly process. Basic Design Printed Circuit Boards The PCBA process starts with the creation of the most basic part of the PCB that is the base. The PCB base consists of several layers, and each layer has an important role in the functionality of the final PCB. These layers include: 

• Substrate is the basic material of PCB. 
 • Copper. Copper is an important conductor in pcb systems. A thin layer of conductive copper foil is added to each functional side of the PCB - on the one hand if it is a one-sided PCB, and on both sides if it is a two-sided PCB. 
• Soldering mask. A soldering mask is used on the top of the copper layer. Soldering masks give each PCB green characteristics. 

This maxer solder serves as a copper trace insulator from accidental contact of other conductive materials so as not to shortcircular. Soldering Masks play an important role in pcb structure, especially keeping all components in place.

• Silkscreen: White silkscreen is the last layer on printed circuit boards. Silkscreen serves to add labels to pcbs in the form of characters and symbols so as to help show the functionality of each component contained in printed circuit boards. The three main types of PCBs include: Rigid PCB : Rigid PCB is the most common type of PCB used in PCBA. The solid core of the PCB has a rigid and thick board. This type of PCB is made of fiberglass, otherwise referred to as "FR4" or also made of epoxies or phenolate, although this material is less durable when compared to FR4. Flexible PCB: Flexible PCB is made of flexible material so that it can adjust the space. This type of PCB is made of high temperature plastic that can be bent like Kapton so that it has a flexible impression.

 • Metal Core PCB: This board is another alternative to fr4 boards on rigid PCBs. Metal Core PCB is made of metal core, this board tends to spread heat more efficiently than other types of PCBs. This type of PCB helps to eliminate overheating and protects the components of the board components that are more sensitive to heat so as not to be exposed to overheating.
